Marco Bevolo, Lecturer at the Academy of Leisure of NHTV University of Applied Sciences of Breda, The Netherlands, and a Doctoral Candidate with the University of Tilburg, is a strategic future consultant, with a strong portfolio in brand marketing and innovation. Between 1999 and 2009 a Director at Philips Design, The Netherlands, Bevolo developed and directed work class programs like CultureScan and City.people.light, the world class program on urban futures. He has been published in the global press on the topics of design, qualitative research and future studies, Bevolo is a co-author, with Gofman and Moskowitz, of the newly launched Premium by Design (Gower Publishers, 2011). He authored his first independent book, "The Golden Crossroads" with Palgrave in 2009, and edited the Philips Lighting book "City.people.light" (2007), with contributions by world class architects and designers. In 2010, he earned the Emerald Literati Award of Excellence for an article co-authored in the Journal of Consumer Marketing, US. He is an editorial consultant of Research World magazine and a workshop faculty of ESOMAR, The Netherlands.
