Leading on the Edge Report - October 1, 2008
Wow, what times we live in now. As I write this the United States Legislature is about to embark upon the most significant financial bailout of Wall Street in world history. Companies thought to be bullet-proof are now no longer in existence. FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) is prevalent amongst businesses large and small today.
All of this stresses the importance of us as leaders to keep perspective, continue to innovate, and stick with the basics.
This issue I delve into helping diffuse conflict in the work setting and using brainstorming as as effective technique to drive innovation and creativity. I also read a really cool book called "Go Green, Live Rich" that has some great nuggets to help us all be more responsible of the world we live in and save some money at the same time.
