In his second volume on Harmonic Trading, Scott Carney completes coverage of harmonic patterns and presents new strategies (BAMM and RSI BAMM). The second volume compliments the first very well and the information is informative to traders of all levels of success. I was discouraged by the number of chart labeling errors and typographical errors in the book, especially after he was advised of some of the same errors earlier from his website and other works. The errors are sufficiently significant to slow the reader, who must stop, back-track, verify, and correct the mistakes. This is unfortunate and preventable event to an otherwise instructive book on harmonic trading patterns.

Its still a well written book, a couple of typos I think, but a good chunk of the book is used up with historic examples to prove his point of the new patterns. I think you can get away with just book one as a good foundation for harmonic trading. The only method I found useful was the rsi Bamm method.

I've finished reading Vol 2 and it has more than lived up to my expectations. Whilst Vol 1 gave me an amazing insight into the Harmonic Trading system and how to trade the patterns, Vol 2 has taken my trading to the next level. Vol 2 has introduced me to new patterns, a very precise Indicator system, and it has greatly improved my understanding of the Harmonic System as a signpost of future market direction which in turn has increased my confidence and resulted in my being more active and more profitable in the market. As a result of the new trading strategies introduced in Vol 2, I now no longer have to wait for the completion of the patterns in order to trade and if a pattern fails I can now take advantage of that failure as a trading opportunity,(this area was covered in Vol 1, but Vol 2 has given me the confidence to take these trades due to the precise ratios that have been added).
