I got promoted a year ago, at the age of 30 and working abroad in a multinational company. I needed a roadmap on my new journey into leadership and I found this book. Simple yet sophisticated, explaining the golden rules of leadership through three stages. The foundation, the practise and mastering the leadership. The part one; the foundations of leadership helped me understand why I got promoted among others. The part two; the practise of leadership is my current recipe to do my leadership job and the final part; mastering the leadership provides me with understanding how I can proceed further in my journey. During my first months, I had to face a critical leadership incident that many managers face once or twice in their journey in my company and the book gave me the guidelines on how to manage the case.
