5.0 out of 5 stars This book helps managers communicate authentically and effectively, January 29, 2011
This review is from: Management Communication: Financial Times Briefing (Financial Times Series) (Paperback)
For years, I've been looking for a book that gives the managers I work with everything they need to know about communication - short, easy to read, with examples, synopses, and tools. This guide does all this and more. It bases communication advise on the principles of emotional intelligence. From someone who has obviously done it, knows about it and writes about it with simplicity and clarity.

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant management communication tool-box, March 7, 2011
This review is from: Management Communication: Financial Times Briefing (Financial Times Series) (Paperback)
The book is an excellently structured treasure chest to build and continuously improve one's own communication tool-box. The short briefing lessons after each chapter help to quickly grasp the essentials and rapidly get the big picture. It's also ideal for self-study. Some chapters such as "tame your inner critic" or on "gender" (difference between communication of men and women) are "musts" to read for anyone.
