Ms. O'Keeffe has written an excellent book that's appropriate for any type of leader who is approaching a new project, a new responsibility, a new role, or new employer. She provides concise, practical advice on the actions, planning, and activities necessary that can differentiate one leader from another. Many of us have seen leaders who may have vision, but lack the 'brass tacks' capabilities to take the actions necessary to support their role and support their staff. This book provides the 'brass tacks', and high level point of view, that will help anyone who needs another point of view on how to excel in new leadership activities that they undertake.

5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant kick start for my new job position!, March 3, 2012
This review is from: Your First 100 Days: How to make maximum impact in your new leadership role (Financial Times Series) (Paperback)
As I was preparing for a new senior job position I was looking for inspiration and something to support my 90 day plan. I found this book who really has given me a serious boost and lots of energy prior to my first day at work in my new position. What's great about this book is that it's very much a hands on book full of great tools that you can leverage from when planning your first 100 days.
Furthermore it's written in a very understandable way which makes it easy for you to absorb. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to create a sharp and compelling 90 day plan! Regards John
